What if we love the criminal without tolerating the crime? What if we fed the poor while helping them get on their feet? What if we saw the best in people beyond their color, race or gender? What if we stood up for our principles without anger, or making the other person wrong? What if we were to stop seeing victims as helpless, and abusers as worthless? What if we didn’t dismiss people simply because there was a trait in them that we didn’t like? What if we slowed down and were better human beings, rather than frantic human doers? What if we were to communicate more with Jesus and his Mother, the angels and saints, and with our Divine Source? What if we were to treat every human being with dignity and respect rather than judgment and condemnation? What if we listened to others without preconceived notions and with an open mind and heart? What if we truly listened to our deeper sacred intuitive self rather than going along with our self-gratifying, self-destructive self? What if we were to love God with our whole mind, heart, and soul, and love our neighbor as ourselves? What if we were simply grateful for everything? Perhaps if we were to achieve all of these the world would be a better place, and we would be more at peace with ourselves! Love and Peace, Mary
