Inspirational Humor

Life can be so much more enjoyable with humor in it.  Humor lightens our hearts and helps us see things from a different perspective.

I believe it was Carl Jung who said that you could learn a lot about yourself by seeing what your favorite jokes are.  By asking ourselves what kind of humor we find funny and reflecting on how that affects how we are in life can be very insightful. 

Inspirational humor can open our minds and our hearts while showing us how to look at our humanity in ways we may not have thought of before.

One Christmas my very perceptive daughter, Debbie, gave each of us humorous posters that seemed to fit us perfectly.  The one she gave her very serious sister was a poster by Elbert Hubbard that read, “Don’t take life to seriously, you will never get out alive.”  

At times we all take life too seriously and humor helps lighten the burden.  The following quotes are my favorite inspirational humor quotes that have helped me reflect but not take life too seriously.  I do hope you enjoy them as much as I have!
